Pill culture in the late 1990’s reached an unprecedented reality. States of rapture were heightened by a theme of dance and the costumes of dancers. In 1999 as the decade closed it was clearly evident pharmaceuticals had greatly contributed to an ambivalent culture that had allowed for systems of control to create a predicament that threatened to be impossible to alter.
